Lately (meaning the past few months) my job has taken over my life… I am working 80+ hrs/week and when I get home I don’t really feel like working on problems on this site…
BUT.
Derek (GmDude66) is back… but he has a job now that he has to care about… so he can fix the problems… mmk? So that should help out a bit.
Yes, I haven’t been all too work-y on WHFF lately, but I have done a few things and I feel like a new blog post should be made.
I have officially finished the Public Folder feature, once again, members only! :) It was a neat feature to make and was pretty simple, but I think it is a good update and something that I am happy is finally added.
I also fixed most of the sync errors with the Food Stamps systems. I feel stupid why it was broken in the first place! Doh!
We’ve also hit 1100 users+! Weee…
After doing a proxy/IP/email verification, we have found our 1,000th member to Will Host For Food!

This is a very awesome goal that WHFF has accomplished, and without you guys we wouldn’t be here today! (Seriously, I almost shut this site down once but the reaction was amazing enough to make me keep it) We hope that you all continue to use this site and allow us to grow larger and larger, thats our goal after all! We are using record bandwidth and file hits and are growing the Alexa’s topsites rapidly, about +400 per day! Anyways, I just wanted to thank EVERYONE who uses WHFF, it means a lot to us!

Yeah! We’ve been doing some little tweaks. Not much, but still, its work! 
We’ve been getting requests by members do so some things, and we’ve done plenty of them, including showing your total usage, making file reporting a members-only function (To stop spammers), and a few others!
–and this isn’t all! We’re doing others as I am typing this blog! We are going to make it so you can create new files on-the-spot, redesign the download page, add some features on the download page, and do some more stuff I really can’t remember. 
In other news, we are at a record number of registrations for a single day! and we are SO close to 1,000 members! Yay! Remember, the 1 thousandth member gets a super cool prize that no one knows what it is yet!
Ha! Sometimes I feel like we are so lazy and never fix things people request, then I feel like I’ve outdone myself. Hehe.
…but the later feeling is what I am feeling now! Yay!
I by myself (Yeah, go away Derek), coded the File Editor, renaming files, store, and I think that is it.
So thats cool, and Will Host For Food is quickly climbing the Alexa rankings! We are now in the top 250K websites, and only a few weeks ago we were in the top 350! Quiet a climb! This is making me really happy. Maybe we’ll make it in the top 100k soon. That’d be wonderful!
Anyways, were about to hit 1000 members, at 916 members how, thats only 84 members away! So seriously, start joining people!

Also, Derek really wants a R4/M3. Someone buy him one so he will stop bugging me about it.

As of writing this, we have 791 registered members! Quiet an impressive number– but in approximately 2 days (I’ll edit with the actual date), WHFF will have OVER EIGHT HUNDRED users!!! This is an amazing accomplishment! Anyways, I don’t have much time to keep writing so I just thought I’d write SOMETHING to keep it look busy.

Lately WHFF has been getting more members than usual, at about 8-13 per day and we got our 700th, which is pretty awesome! We welcome all and hope everyone who joins stays
There another record we broke, too, and that is BANDWIDTH! This month, which still has about 10 days in it (Server month…), we have used more than our previous records, of 150 GIGABYTES! Thats a LOT of data!
Hopefully all of these numbers can grow. ^_^
So I decided that all three of us, Ryan (me), Mitch, and Derek should have a blog. Oh wait, I will probably be the only one to blog here, hehe. So I installed Word Press and applied a theme, and here we are.
Anyways, so since this is the first blog, I guess I’ll make it useful and post some stuff I guess…
Today on Will Host For Food, Derek and I did some stuff. Most of it is back door things like the Admin CP, but I did (hopefully) fix the delete bug that plaques this site. Also, no, I did not do anything with the BBCode, as I am still thinking of possible methods to fix that.
I guess thats enough for a starter blog, hopefully next time I’ll post about more interesting stuff. Like Me.
